2012 Recruiting Band Roster

Remember,  it is imperative you do NOT miss any part of any rehearsal, personal illness is the only excused absence, and only one of those.
Rehearsals begin  this Wednesday April 11, 2012 2:15-3:30PM 
Congratulations on being accepted into this band.

Apparently, Mrs. Armstrong has been over-ruled regarding rehearsal attendance and there are no longer any rules regarding attendance at recruiting band rehearsals. Everyone is welcome and there will be no repercussions from missing any of our rehearsals. Students may come and go as they please. We will just do the best we can with what we have in attendance each day. (April 24, 2012)

Rehearsals every Wednesday and Friday until the performances on Monday May 7, 2012

Cedar Point Permission Slip - permission slip, money, and medical release form must all be turned in together. Then, students may choose their bus however, not particularly their seat.

Due May 1, 2012, deadline has passed we still have several seats, we will continue to take more as long as we have seats available.

After school tutoring is now on Monday and Thursday's due to the staff meetings on Tuesday afternoons.

All dates are tentative until cleared with administration.    Please double check all dates as the date draws near.  I will do my best to keep these as accurate as possible.

Each band has it's own area:

Varsity Band..... generally the 8th grade students and our most accomplished musicians.

Cadet Band.......mostly made up of 7th grade students and our intermediate musicians.

Beginning Band.....the majority of these students are in 6th grade, our beginning musicians with the least experience and those newest to our program.
