Scale Tests

The Varsity and Cadet bands will be learning their scale tests. Students may study these for this year's tests. Scales are a very necessary part of a musician's training and I expect every Fort Gratiot Band student to have them memorized.

Varsity Band needs to play and write these concert scales:
Bb, Eb, Ab, C, Db, and F

More information regarding Varsity Band concert scales, remember you can use any octave you feel comfortable playing and/or writing, these are only suggestions. Names of notes count, keys signatures count, however you can play the higher notes or the lower notes. It is your choice.
